10th June 2004 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Golf Cource Car Park Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: 17-25 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot Air Temperature: 18 Sea Temperature: 11 Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: Took a half day as the forecast looked ok. Got to Borth by 3.45pm and saw Impi already out there on a 6.4m. Rigged up and got out, wind was cross on and F5. I struggled a bit with my kit set up and being knocked about while trying to get out. Should have tried more blasting down the beach to get out gradually. Still getting used to sailing sea front rather than flat water. Getting there but not too impressed with my performance today. Came in and wind was F5/6 and felt like going back out with my 5.3m but my arms were shot :-) Good session nonetheless, plenty of kiting action going on. Al was kiting and had a little sess on my kit too. A sneaky way to get a 2nd session and add to the stoke factor ! Well worth the trip, nice warm water and plenty of wind ;-) |
